Winter Retreat

Friends,
The Bleak Midwinter is upon us and many find themselves in the post-holiday melancholy. The holidays call forth memories of those we have loved and who have died, flooding us with joy at having had them and sadness for having lost them.
I invite you to come spend a day with me sharing time in which no rules determine how, why, or even what we discuss about death, grief, loss, and the many other related topics that other spaces declare too taboo. People who haven’t read my book or attended a workshop sometimes say to me, “that’s so sad,” or “why did you pick such depressing topic?” How I wish they would come spend just an hour with me and my guests in these spaces. Sad? Certainly. Healing? Usually. Joyful? Often. Liberating? Always.
I hope you will considering relieving some of the winter heaviness with me and others. You do not have to have read my book to participate fully. All are welcome. Use this link to register: Winter Retreat and Book Discussion

I regret that life has gotten in the way and I’m not going to be able to spend the day with you and others on January 25th. Nothing tragic – just “stuff” that needs tending to. I will miss being there.
